Registration for posters is now closed
In total 70 PhD candidates and postdocs will present their research during the Poster Session. The Poster Session will take place during the lunch break, from 12:30 – 13:45 hrs.
The Poster Session will be split between odd and even poster numbers, so each participant has about 30 minutes to present their poster:
Session A: 12.30-13.10 hrs, odd numbers
Session B: 13.10-13.45 hrs, even numbers
Poster presenters are kindly asked to put their poster on the board before lunch time. There are poster buddies available. Posters will not be published on the ULS website or in any electronic format.
Maximum recommended poster dimensions: 882 x 1,274mm (36″ x 49.08″) Portrait – DIN A0 Oversize Format.
There will be a prize for the best poster. Poster presentations will be judged on:
- Originality of Work / Scientific Merit (scientific method; appropriateness of experimental design; substantive contribution to the field
- Clarity and aesthetics of display (is the presentation easy to understand? Are difficult concepts explained clearly? Is sufficient background information provided?)
- Knowledge (ability to answer questions, can the presenter think beyond the work presented?)
The poster prize will be announced by the poster prize committee at the end of the day.
